One concern...

...about tonight's vice presidential debate.

The expectations of Sarah Palin are so low, especially based on her performance in the Couric interviews, that if she manages to get out one complete sentence and avoid pissing herself on the stage, her performance will likely be hailed a "great success" and a "homerun ball."

Cuz come on, when Katie Couric the nicest woman in journalism makes you look like an idiot, that's kind of like being eviscerated by a fluffy kitten.

I kind of saw it from the opposite end, making Katie Couric seem like a real journalist means you're a very, very bad politician.

You have a point there. Katie is a great reporter for human interest and light fare, but a hard-hitting journalist she's not. Sarah Palin made her look like friggin' Tim Russert. *sniff* I wish Tim was here.

OMG, me too...I miss Tim. My hometown boy Tom Brokaw is doing a good job in the Meet The Press seat but there was only one Russert.
